I do believe the world is full of good and bad, but to think no one can do anything to change it is defeatist and delusional. You have to account for hope, for human decency, for the ability of the other to change for the better. We are all we’ve got, in the end.
It’s partially what I was trying to say with the end section of “Earth (We’re In This Together)”, that we’re all in this together, and the best part of us would be to stand together and help each other get by.
